Dietmar Feichtinger was honored with the Styrian State Honor for Science, Research and Art First Class

Born in Bruck, he completed his architecture studies at the Graz University of Technology with distinction in 1988 and subsequently moved to Paris, where he founded the company “Dietmar Feichtinger Architects” in 1994, which today employs over thirty staff members and can look back on significant successes. Dietmar Feichtinger, who is active not only in France but throughout Europe, designed the cultural center in Weiz, thus leaving his architectural footprint in our federal state as well. Through winning architecture competitions, he has been responsible for the footbridge Simone de Beauvoir over the Seine or the new connecting bridge to the island of Mont Saint-Michel in Normandy and the maritime walkway Aldilonda in Bastia.
