Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine
Wednesday, 29 January 2020 – 5.30 pm – Auditorium

It was at the centre of architectural renewal at the beginning of the 20th century – before it was hit by the upheavals of the two world wars: What has become of Vienna in the 21st century, what traces have remained and what driving forces have led the city since 1989 to regain its full strength in a reunited Europe?
Against the backdrop of musical and literary sequences, an attempt will be made to grasp the essential characteristics of this city – symbol of Central Europe – in various approaches.

Moderation: François Chaslin, architect and critic
