Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine
Saturday 18th of January 2020 – 19h – Bibliothèque
This fourth edition of the Night of Reading again strengthens the links between those who are involved in books and reading.
On Saturday 18 January, libraries and bookshops throughout France, overseas and even abroad will offer a playful way to discover the wealth of their paper and digital collections, to consult new publications such as literary works from the past, to exchange ideas and to play with words.
Following the success of the last edition, the library of the Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine is taking part in this event by once again presenting the actor Yves Heck (Minuit à Paris, 120 beats per minute…) and the ‘Tête de lecture’ event he created. On the occasion of the current Viennese season at the Cité, the actor will welcome the Austrian architect Dietmar Feichtinger as a guest.
Tête de lecture, a literary rendez-vous of a new kind, is a unique and eclectic moment of exchange, where chance and the taste of the audience form the programme.
The rules are as follows: Each spectator can bring 1 or 2 pages of his or her favourite text and literature. You will then receive a lottery ticket. If your text is drawn by lottery, it will be read out by the actor Yves Heck.
