A total of 123 buildings or landscape designs from all over Austria were submitted this time for the Austrian Client Award. Per state a jury nominated three to five projects, where their clients and mentors have made a tremendous contribution to the conception and realization of architectural quality. From 37 nominees the prominent jury – architect Eva Rubin from Klagenfurt, architect Jurij Sadar from Ljubljana, architecture critic Otto Kapfinger from Vienna – selected the 5 award winning projects 2011. The hospital of Klagenfurt is one of the award winning projects.
In the exhibition series ‘Architektur im Ringturm’ is now demonstrated, that responsible clients and commissioner can induce modern, sustainable and responsible architecture.
