Lecture Dietmar Feichtinger on Monday, 1st of July, 19.00

Dietmar Feichtinger is an internationally acclaimed architect with roots in Styria, now based in Paris. His projects are characterized by his constructive and spatial approach. He always aims to find a unique solution tailored to the specific task at hand and its location, both in urban and rural contexts. Pursuing an approach that is open and not tied to a specific ideology, his buildings provide plenty of space for interaction and communication.

The exhibition portrays seven completed projects for buildings in the education sector by Dietmar Feichtinger Architectes in France and Austria. Models, films, photographs and selected plan drawings demonstrate the close connection between construction and draft, and the structural relationship between the buildings and their environment. An interview with Dietmar Feichtinger provides insight into the architect’s methods and serves as a link to the parallel exhibition in the aut. architektur und tirol.
